Two words...financial literacy. They should teach this in school but they don’t so it’s up to you to understand the finances surrounding your life.
Ways to enhance your financial literacy:
- Know your numbers (income, expenditures, assets, liabilities etc)
- Set financial goals and plans
- Take courses or attend seminars that teach about finance
- Hire a financial advisor
