How are you cultivating your relationships?

  • relationship [n.] -the way in which two or more people feel and behave toward each other
  • spirituality [n.] -the quality that involves deep feelings and beliefs of or relating to the spirit and/or the soul, rather than the physical parts of life

As community-oriented and social beings, relationships matter. There are several types of relationships that one can be a part of and each one to an extent shapes the way an individual responds. Whether it’s a spousal relationship or one consisting of colleagues or coworkers, fostering healthy and progressive relationships require effort and intent.

Human beings are social creatures. Even if you tend to be a loner, there are still people in your life that you might encounter at some point. There is some type of relationship established with people you have a regular interaction with.

These people include :

  • Parents /grand parents/ in-laws
  • Siblings / extended family members (cousins/aunts/uncles)
  • Spouse / significant other
  • Child(ren)
  • Friends
  • Colleagues/Coworkers
  • Business Partners
  • Community members (i.e. neighbors, church group, organizations)
